Little Kitten

I volunteer at the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA).  Last time I went in there was a little baby kitten, only a few hours old, being taken care of by the owner.  The mommy cat had abandoned him in their cage, leaving him to fend for himself.  This is common for feral cats, being too young, unprepared, or in shock of having a litter of unwanted kittens.  Thankfully the owner found the kitten in time, scooped him up, kept him warm and fed him.  Since there were other mom cats in the VOKRA office, they were going to put this kitten in with another litter, and the mom would hopefully accept him as her own.  Whether or not, I’m sure this little kitten will be well taken care of (as VOKRA is a no-kill shelter) and find a furrever home.
